Join Our Team as a Mobile Maintenance Technician Apprentice!

About the Role:

As a Mobile Maintenance Technician Apprentice, you'll work closely with your Supervising Engineer and the Facilities Team to provide both proactive and reactive maintenance services across our properties. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our nursery environments, building strong working relationships with all nursery staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Emergency Response: Support in providing first response and make-safe services to any emergencies or unsafe conditions.
• Routine Repairs: Assist in conducting routine repairs alongside your Supervising Engineer.
• Statutory Testing: Undertake and record statutory tests such as weekly fire testing and water services testing.
• Minor Repairs: Perform minor fabric repairs, unblocking wastes, assembling and moving furniture/resources, litter picking, and other tasks as assigned by Facilities Management.
• Preventative Maintenance: Adhere to the planned preventative maintenance program, regularly monitoring internal and external building fabric and M+E systems.
• Team Contribution: Contribute to the development and maintenance of relationships with staff and suppliers.
• Compliance: Follow all company rules, policies, and procedures, including one day per week of college attendance.
