Contract: Full-time, Permanent — £31,000 per annum

As our nursery continues to expand, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Deputy Manager to join our management team. You will play a vital role in leading staff, supporting practice, and ensuring our setting provides the highest standards of care and learning for every child.

What you’ll be doing

As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Management Team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the setting. You will lead by example, supporting staff across all rooms, maintaining high standards of care and education, and ensuring safeguarding and compliance are always prioritised. You will oversee planning and curriculum delivery, mentor and develop practitioners, and build strong relationships with families. This role offers clear opportunities to progress your career through the Partou Academy, while making a real impact on the quality of provision in our nursery.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification, strong knowledge of the EYFS, and proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a nursery or early years setting. You should be confident in leading teams, passionate about early childhood education, and committed to safeguarding and continuous professional development.
