Early Years Assistant - Unqualified
Location: Partou Thornbury, South Gloucestershire
Contract: 30 hours per week, Permanent - £27,164 per annum (pro rata)

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Early Years Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to make a positive difference in their day.
Our Thornbury nursery is a welcoming and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow. With spacious rooms & outdoor areas, we provide a supportive setting for both children and staff.
What you’ll be doing
As an Early Years Assistant, you will help supervise children during activities & mealtimes, support staff with routines, and ensure the nursery remains a safe, welcoming environment. You’ll assist with setting up and clearing away, encourage healthy eating, and provide comfort and care to children as they transition between activities.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone friendly, reliable, and who enjoys working with young children. Previous experience in childcare is preferred, but what matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to supporting the team.
