At Partou, we're one of the largest childcare providers in the UK, with ambitious plans for growth and a passion for delivering exceptional early years experiences. Behind every great leader is someone who makes things happen—and we're looking for an outstanding Executive Assistant to support our Co-Managing Director (Childcare & Operations Director and Ofsted Nominated Individual).

This isn't a traditional EA role.

We're looking for someone who naturally works one step ahead, anticipates challenges before they arise, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll be a trusted partner, helping our Co-Managing Director stay focused on leading the business while ensuring the detail, organisation and planning behind the scenes are expertly managed.

What you'll be doing

You'll play a pivotal role in supporting a senior leader whose responsibilities span operations, childcare, compliance and strategic leadership. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a complex and ever-changing diary, inbox and priorities.
  • Preparing meeting agendas, papers, briefings and action trackers.
  • Acting as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinating travel, accommodation, logistics and appointments.
  • Supporting compliance and administrative requirements linked to the Director's role as Ofsted Nominated Individual.
  • Producing reports, presentations and management documentation.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to organise company events, conferences and awards programmes.
  • Supporting business projects and initiatives from planning through to delivery.
  • Ensuring the Director always has the information, resources and support needed to operate effectively.

What we're looking for

You'll be an experienced Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or senior administrator who enjoys bringing order to complexity and takes pride in delivering exceptional support.

You will have:

  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders.
  • Outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills.
  • High levels of discretion, professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Experience coordinating events, conferences, celebrations or similar activities.
  • The confidence to work proactively, make decisions and solve problems independently.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships across the business.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience within childcare, education or early years.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted requirements or regulatory environments.
  • Experience managing budgets, suppliers or venues for events.

About you

You're calm under pressure, highly organised and naturally proactive. You don't wait to be asked—you spot what needs doing and get it done.

You enjoy creating structure, coordinating people and making things happen. Whether it's arranging a complex schedule, organising a major company conference or ensuring a last-minute issue is resolved before anyone notices, you're at your best when you're helping others succeed.

Why join Partou?

As part of a leading international childcare group, you'll join a growing organisation that invests in its people, values collaboration and offers the opportunity to make a real impact. No two days will be the same, and you'll have the chance to work closely with senior leadership while contributing to the continued success of one of the UK's largest childcare providers.

What you’ll get in return:

  • The opportunity to work within a growing, values-driven organisation
  • Access to global expertise and best practice in early years
  • Ongoing development and career progression opportunities
  • Competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • 25 days annual leave plus your birthday off
  • Access to our Employee Assistant Programme and healthcare schemes
