The role - What you’ll do. 

 

As a Twilight Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for the successful attraction and selection of future Partou colleagues, specifically focusing on out-of-hour contact.

You will be partnered with the UK talent acquisition team to proactively outreach, follow-up and source candidates that we are unable to connect with during the working day. This is a temporary position, for a min of 10 weeks, covering Monday to Friday, 4pm to 8pm. 

 

 

The role – Key responsibilities

 

Deliver recruitment support for all roles assigned to you, this includes, but is not limited to;

  • Sourcing candidates using various channels and tools including job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals and networks/ materials within nursery settings.
  • Reviewing applications and CVs for appropriate experience, rejecting and communicating with unsuccessful candidates, and providing shortlists of potential candidates to hiring managers for review.
  • Conducting interviews both independently and as a Safer Recruitment expert alongside hiring managers to support the selection of the best candidate for the role.
  • Proactively build talent pools and pipelines to fortify a future source of high quality candidates.
  • “Safer Recruitment” is an industry standard and is Ofsted regulated. As a custodian of Safer Recruitment practices across the organisation you will ensure you remain compliant and must flag to your Team Leader where you feel support is required or you are aware of non-compliance.
  • Ensure you are performing against personal and team SLA’s and KPI’s.
  • Proactively communicating and reporting insights by keeping your Team Leader informed of progress.
  • Work closely with your TA colleagues to deliver a great recruitment experience and step in to support your colleagues where required.
  • Ensure you are ATS compliant and you are using the ATS system without exception.
  • Deliver diversity and inclusion throughout all recruitment practices to ensure our teams across Partou reflect the diverse communities we serve.

 

The role – What you’ll bring

  • You are well organized and have strong time management, you know how to prioritize your time.
  • You have a genuine passion for recruitment and delivering exceptional candidate experience. You will bring:
  • GCSE certificates are required, though relevant qualifications in human resources or a related field would be advantageous. 2025
  • In-house or agency recruitment experience, or a passion to learn in-house talent acquisition, ideally coming from a regulated business, or from within the early years childcare sector or education industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with hiring managers and colleagues alike.
  • Attention to detail and curiosity.
  • The Early years space is a governed industry, always seeking to improve. You will remain curious, ensure you are up to speed with market trends and regulatory changes. No detail is ever too small.
  • Technologically adept with microsoft packages, CRM’s and ATS systems, as well as a curiosity for understanding the positive impact technological advances can have on the hiring process.

 

 

The recruitment process – What you can expect

Recruitment procedures for Early Years careers are extremely important whether you are in a nursery or head office position. “Safer Recruitment” is a way of ensuring that we employ people suitable for the job and prioritize the safety and welfare of Children. If your application is successful, you can expect to speak with the Head of Marketing and a Talent Acquisition Leader, and potentially a conversation with the Commercial Director, and Director of People and Culture for the UK.
